Writing on-call notes that survive the morning handover

Field Core App Academy coaches in Bangkok keep seeing the same handover problem: a night analyst dumps panel screenshots into a chat thread, then the day analyst cannot tell which signal actually moved. We teach a three-part note: the signal that changed, the window in minutes, and the hypothesis in one sentence.

The template fits a sticky note. It does not replace a full incident report. It does stop the morning stand-up from replaying the entire night. During cohort coaching we mark real notes (with names removed) against that template and send them back with two comments, never a score.

Teams that adopt the template for a month usually cut the length of the verbal handover. The gain is not speed for its own sake. It is that the next analyst can continue the same ranking instead of starting a new dashboard tour.
