Flagship week: how the Intensive is delivered
The Observability Signal Analysis Intensive is a five-day classroom for people who already collect telemetry and still lose time deciding which signal to trust. It is taught by two facilitators at Field Core App Academy in Pathum Wan. Seats are individual. We do not sell dashboard licences or collector access.
Result you leave with
By Friday you have a ranking method you can apply to an alert, a trace, and a noisy log hour. You also take a filled ranking sheet from a payment-path incident used throughout the week, plus a one-page handover template for Bangkok on-call notes.
Scope included
Printed incident packs, facilitated ranking drills, a projector walkthrough of one anonymised Thai retail payment path, two coached write-ups, lunch on classroom days, and a seat in the Lumpinee room. English is the language of instruction; examples mix English and Thai log messages as they appear in local stacks.
Outside scope
We do not install collectors, rewrite your alert rules, or remain on your on-call roster. Tool configuration is mentioned only when a signal cannot be ranked without naming the source.
Providers
Lead facilitator Arisa Thongchai (incident analysis teaching since the academy opened in 2018) and a second facilitator who marks written rankings overnight. Maximum sixteen seats so every ranking sheet can be read.
Process
Day one: alert ranking before any panel. Day two: log-line selection. Day three: trace gaps on a payment path. Day four: handover notes under time pressure. Day five: a full paper incident from first page to a written hypothesis, then a short oral defence. Evenings are optional reading, not extra lectures.
Preparation
Bring anonymised alert titles from a recent week if your employer allows it. Laptops are welcome; the ranking work is on paper first. If you cannot share internal alerts, we supply the pack.
Constraints
You should already recognise logs, metrics, and traces. Absolute beginners in operations will struggle with the vocabulary. Night-shift workers should pick a cohort that does not collide with a heavy rotation week.
Price and next step
THB 48,000 per seat, excluding VAT where it applies. A 30% deposit holds the chair; the balance is due ten days before day one. Check open dates, then send an enquiry naming cohort code INT-BKK-SEP or INT-BKK-NOV.
